Dr. Parmit Kumar Singh alias Rifle Singh is from a beautiful village Paniyadih, which is located in the Siwan district of the Indian state of Bihar. The village is famous for the Baba Jyotish Nath temple. He has received several awards for his poetry during his college days. He also received an award from the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs for the National Youth Parliament Competition. He has published three poetry books (English, Hindi, and Bhojpuri languages).
